Frantic Assembly creates thrilling, energetic and unforgettable theatre. The company attracts new and young audiences with work that reflects contemporary culture. Frantic Assembly's unique physical style combines movement, design, music and text. 

Frantic Assembly is led by Artistic Director Scott Graham. Scott formed the company with Steven Hoggett and Vicki Middleton in 1994, and continues to collaborate with many of today's most inspiring artists. Having toured extensively throughout the UK, Frantic Assembly has built an enviable reputation as one of the most exciting companies in the country. The company has also performed, created and collaborated in 30 different countries across the world.
In addition to its productions, Frantic Assembly operates an extensive learning and training programme, introducing 6,000 participants a year to the company's process of creating theatre, in a wide variety of settings. Frantic Assembly also delivers Ignition, an innovative vocational training project for young men, particularly targeting those with little previous experience of the arts.

Lovesong intertwines a couple in their 20s with the same man and woman a lifetime later. Their past and present selves collide in this haunting and beautiful tale of togetherness. A production by acclaimed film, television and theatre writer Abi Morgan.

Designed for venues of between 250 – 550 seats.

Frantic Assembly explodes onto the stage with an electrifying contemporary take on Shakespeare’s most brutal and gripping thriller-tragedy of paranoia, jealousy, sex and murder. Here, violence is a way of life and reputation is everything.

Designed for venues of 500 seats upwards.

The Believers

Two families are flung together on a night of cataclysmic weather. Bruised, tired and seduced by the flow of alcohol, they wrestle with their differences until, suddenly, the unthinkable happens. Something unbelievable.

As their versions of what happened begin to fall apart and their perspectives become clouded by suspicion, they turn on each other in a desperate fight to understand the truth. 

Contains strong language.

Recommended age guidance 14+.

Wraparound work

Frantic Assembly runs an extensive programme of wraparound activity to accompany productions including: post-show discussions, on-stage demos and free resource packs.

Its learning programme introduces young people to physical theatre skills and consists of workshops, creative residencies and teacher training.

Workshops can explore devising and physicality or current productions.

Frantic Assembly’s Artistic Director also delivers masterclasses in devising and physicality for aspiring artists through the company’s Train programme.
