Filter Theatre deliver workshops on Shakespeare in Sri Lanka before heading to India for the first time to tour its Tweltfth Night

Before its’ India tour, Filter Theatre led workshops on Shakespeare for pupils, teachers and practitioners in Colombo, Kandy and Jaffna in Sri Lanka at the end of November 2015. Then Filter Theatre’s Twelfth Night tour in India kicked off on 24 November in New Delhi and travelled to seven cities ending with a performance in Mumbai on 18 December. Along the way, Filter Theatre again delivered workshops on Shakespeare for school groups. All the highlights of the tour can be found here. Both the tour in India and the workshops in Sri Lanka were supported by the British Council as part of Shakespeare Lives.

Shakespeare Lives is a global programme of events and activities celebrating Shakespeare’s work on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of his death in 2016.
