Nigerian cultural leaders attend Brighton Festivals

A delegation of Nigerian cultural leaders attends the Brighton Fringe Festival and Brighton Festival to get an understanding of how Fringe festivals work. There were opportunities to shadow the various departments (marketing, production, box office etc.) and to meet with venues and artists. This follows on from the Brighton Fringe festival’s visit to Lagos to conduct a series of workshops and seminars in March 2015. The British Council is collaborating with Brighton Fringe Festival to support the Lagos Theatre Festival’s aspiration to have a fringe festival run alongside its festival in 2016.
