Delhi dance company in London

The company performed Within as part of Alchemy at Southbank Centre in May. We supported the development of Knotted (the first piece of the Within double bill) with Morag Deyes, Artistic Director of Dance Base, Scotland, working closely with Mangaldas in the role of artistic mentor. UK lighting designer Fabiana Piccioli (from the Akram Khan Company) also collaborated on the production. 

Alchemy is a Southbank festival celebrating the cultural exchange between the UK and the Indian Subcontinent with a range of art forms, including performing arts, music, film, design, fashion and music. The British Council has been one of the key partners and has brought work from across South Asia.
